At the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton, we offer a variety of camps and school break programs for school-aged children. Our talented instructors will teach you artistic techniques, as well as critical and creative thinking skills.
P.A. Day Art Programs
If you are between the ages of 6 and 12 and would like to spend your day off school making art in our studios, then participate in our P.A. day art program. You will learn new skills, experiment with art materials and take home your creations at the end of the day. The program runs on most P.A. days scheduled by the Halton District School Board and Halton Catholic District School Board.
Performing Arts Camp - Junior
If you are between the ages of 8 and 10 and interested in exploring theatrical arts, then try our Performing Arts Camp. You will learn theatre techniques through a variety of games and activities. You will work together to develop characters, build sets, improvise scenes and create choreography for a stage production at the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton.
Performing Arts Camp - Senior
If you're between the ages of 11 to 14 and interested in art theatre, try our Performing Arts Camp. You will develop theatre techniques through a series of games and activities. You will also get an opportunity to direct scenes, run a rehearsal, and design the staging for your final performance at the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton.
Visual Arts Camp - Junior
Experiment with a variety of artistic mediums. Whether you want to learn how to make puppets, learn to paint, sketch or sculpt, or design a board game, we have a program for you. Children must be between the ages 6 to 8 to participate.
Visual Arts Camp - Senior
Experiment with a variety of artistic mediums. Whether you want to learn how to make costumes, paint, or take photographs for social media, we have a program for you. Children must be between the ages of 9 and 13 to participate.
