Ticketing
How can I purchase a ticket? |
At this time, we have reduced box office hours; however, you can purchase all tickets online as well. |
Do I have to buy tickets in advance, or can I buy them when I come to the theatre? |
There is no requirement that you purchase advance tickets, but it is recommended, as many performances sell out well in advance. You may purchase tickets at the box office right up until show time, provided seats are still available. |
Are there discounts for children, students or seniors? |
Most performances offered through our website do not have senior/adult/student/child pricing, there is just one general price. |
Are children allowed in the theatre? |
Children older than one should be able to sit quietly in their own seat throughout a performance; if your child is unable to do so, and creates a disturbance you will be asked to leave the theatre. Parents are reminded, unless a show specifically designed “for the whole family” most performances are intended as adult entertainment and may not be enjoyed or suitable for children. If you are in doubt about bringing a child to a particular performance please ask before buying tickets. |
Does my child need a ticket? Can they sit on my lap? |
Both Fire Code and theatre insurance policies require everyone in the theatre audience regardless of age to have a ticket. This allows for an accurate account of how many patrons are in the audience. For those children under the age of one, please go to the box office to get a babes in arms pass (free of charge) however this allows us to track how many little people we have in the audience. |
What happens if I lose my ticket? |
Not to worry! We can locate your ticket on line by your name and reprint the ticket or send to your email so you can have a copy electronically. |
Can I join a mailing list to receive updates on new shows and events? |
Yes, you can sign up as an “Encore Member” and receive all of the latest news from the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton. |
